Color study: Two crowns

I wanted to focus on the textures for this color study. I thought the weathering of the metallic parts would be fun to paint -- actually the reflections and highlights were pretty fun too.
And for this next one, it was a bit challenging to work on because I couldn't easily tell if the colors are from the fruit's skin discoloration or if they are actually highlights / shadows. I guess this is one the cons when using still images for studies.
