Color study: Fire in a can

I haven't painted fire in a while and I needed the practice. I think I'm slowly understanding how to go about it.

To be honest, I was being stubborn and insisted on using my usual brush so that making soft edges was harder than it should have. Once I switched to a softer brush, I finally managed to paint a flowy look for the flames.
