Color study: Leaves

I'm finding it fun to paint leaves. I actually enjoyed working on the leaves on the Apple study yesterday -- probably why I decided to paint this today.

I think leaves in general, are interesting things -- like the colors and textures. I have photos of dried leaves in which you can see the texture in detail. I should try drawing them someday, maybe with a ballpoint or gelpen.
