Sketchwork: Coffeenated critters
For this week, I mostly did quick sketches.
Also tried doing one point perspective. I'm not even sure if I did it right.
Update: Yeah, I'm doing it wrong. I should really start learning perspective drawing.
These next ones are just some doodles. If you look closely, you'd see coffee marks around it.
I've heard about painting with coffee so I though it would be fun to try it.
And it is fun! I used some coffee granules and they don't seem to dissolve. Instead, they absorb the water real quick.
Here's a bigger version of the fellow above. It kinda reminds me of a tree bark/ root crop or something.
I'm still trying to figure out the technique in cross hatching. I pretty much messed up the shading but I still like this creature. It's got some melancholic air about it.
No critters for the next day. Just some eyes eyes baby!
